Case Facts: On February 13, 2019 at Dutchess county resident agreed to a settlement of $215,000.00 on the eve of trial. Plaintiff alleged that he sustained an injury to his right knee as the result of a car versus truck collision that occurred as both vehicles travelled eastbound on Route 44/55 in the Town of Poughkeepsie. The Defense alleged that the Plaintiff, who was 63 years old at the time of the accident, had pre-existing injuries that were not caused by the collision.
